Privacy

Privacy Policy

How the SongBoss desktop application handles your data. In short: it stays on your machine.

Telemetry

SongBoss by default does not communicate any data, personal or otherwise, off of the machine it is running on, with the exception of an opt-in remote requests service. In the case of an end user configuring SongBoss to communicate with a requests system that the user has subscribed to, SongBoss will transfer only the required information needed for that service to operate. Subscribers of a remote request service should refer to that service’s privacy policy.

Data Collection

SongBoss does not collect any data that is not directly related to the program’s function of managing professional karaoke shows. Karaoke track file information, break music file information, rotations, and singers are examples of data that are read, but only at the direction of the end user. SongBoss does not collect any data outside of what the end user specifies for the management of their karaoke library and rotations.

Updates and additions

In future updates and feature additions, SongBoss will continue to respect the end user’s privacy and will not collect or transmit any data unless explicitly requested by the end user.
